TOP IN DAR IS TOP AND HUMBLE...!!

It all starts within the individual and that means us! Before we can have a life of meaning and of purpose, before we can create the joy and have the kind of life we deserve to have; each of us must first learn who we are at our core and choose to “be” that person each and every day. If we want change in our lives we must start here. Anyone not willing to lead themselves in this way cannot ever be the kind of leader our world, families, communities, organization and governments need.

Superstars from all fields now try to be as inspiring as possible. Music is now a way of sending intimate, love, religious and uplifting messages. Once a musician gets a name, it is upon him to make a fortune and at the same time be a role model preaching positivity.
One of the most respected musicians found in East Africa so far is T.I.D (Top In Dar) whose real name is Khalid Mohamed. He is the band leader of Top Band that has now become so popular for doing the best shows in Tanzania and internationally. Top Band has toured most African countries, the U.K and also the U.S.

Talk of hit singles like Zeze, Siamini, Nyota yako, sauti ya dhahabu, Kiuno Viuno and latest Chumvini. T.I.D is most definitely a star by his own standards and rights. Very humble and dedicated to changing the lives of his neighborhood friends and youths where he loves and refers to as Unyamani in almost all his songs. They equally love him for his positive attitude and down to earth lifestyle despite being a top figure and they call him Mnyama too.

“I believe in positivity and all I request the youth to do is stay positive and creative. God first in everything and you surely will reap the seeds of your hard work. “ Says T.I.D
T.I.D is a multi-award winner having bagged the Best Male and Best RnB artist in the Tanzania Music Awards in 2003. He later bagged the Best Artist/Group from Tanzania in the Kisima Music Awards held in 2005. Three years later his hit single came tops and was accepted as the best Video of the year from Tanzania in the Kisima Music award that was held in Nairobi. His afro style music known as Zeze has also been included in the Global soul compilation by the Putumayo World Music.

Having been in the music industry for over a decade now, T.I.D knows what it means to be positive and to preach peace and love to the society. He is a musician and a film actor who also doubles as a positive ambassador .
Be Top but always stay humble. Preach peace and stay positive. T.I.D has proven that without forgetting his roots and neighborhood.

Special Mentions : Top Band, Kisima Awards, Tanzania Music Awards and Putumayo World Music.

MONEY IN THE RELATIONSHIP.

Money matters when responsibilities and basic needs are concerned, I simply loathe the men who brag or use their wealth to control their lovers and those they want to date. This trick only works for the ladies who are not well off and that’s why I advice my fellow ladies to work hard and invest to be independent. When one partner boasts his/her wealth it can only mean one thing; inferiority complex and this is worse. The basic thing in every relationship is sincereity, genuine love and affection then the finance part follows as secondary to boost them._  Nuru The Light- Musician, Artist and Consultant.- Stockholm, Sweden.

It is good to have money but it should never change us as people and what we stand for. Unfortunately in today's world most people go into relationships for what they can get out of it. People have become so materialistic that they consider the depth of your pockets over love! _ Al Mokopane –Businessman -Pretoria South Africa.

"Do Not put Your Trust or Hope in Money" 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be Not high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. 1 Timothy 6:17-19 He that trusted in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch Proverbs11:28 Glory to God!!! Fortune does not so much change men as it unmasks them. _ Jesse Funderburk-  Evangelist Golden Ministries._New Jersey United States.

I think money don’t make you happy and this applies to relationships too…It has to be how u are as a person and not how you can be with money. I will say be yourself you can be good and perfect without money. I think money can make u crazy and even make you to change into someone else and that will break the relationship. _ Dallal Taraff.- Dee Tee Visagie and Hairstyling -Netherlands.

No sincere person gets into a relationship with the intention of getting out. A true relationship starts where both persons are committed to each other. Trust and having the interest of one another at heart is a given in a relationship. With those fundamentals in place, it should be easy to discuss issues about money openly bearing in mind the mutual interest of the couple. _ Raymond Ofula- Multi Award winning Tv actor _Nairobi Kenya.

Money enables us to live comfortable lives but when a couple is not totally honest with money between themselves then even a white lie about money brings untrustworthiness, mistrust, and insecurities in many marriages! Money should never come before any human being and so one should be careful of putting him/herself as a target when u think about taking up millions worth of insurances. My point can be argued but fact remains, it must be a tempting break up for the dissatisfied and dangerous beneficiary in any relationship...!_ Rosemary Tumelo Vodeb- Director of Sales and marketing at Beyontec Eng Services and a Super Model In Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Special Appreciations to all the above mentioned for their time and contributions.
May God bless you for your dedication and Humility.

COMBING YOUR WAY TO STARDOM.

Born Orville Richard Burrell in 1968 in Jamaica. Later stage named "SHAGGY for his afro puffy shaggy hairstyle.
His family moved to New York when he was 18.
He was a US marine corp during the gulf war and as a military man he loved music and that's when he started his music career doing reggae, dance-hall and hip hop . Shaggy is known for his hit singles "Boombastic, Angel and It wasn't me.

Shaggy was discovered in 1988 while singing in the streets with his friends. It is reported that the first show that Shaggy was invited to was in a pub and this was after he thought his first single was doing well and hence would pull a big crowd. To his surprise he got about less than 20 in attendance and he refused to carry through with his performance, He had to stick to the contract and sing alone and along until morning as the few in the house left one after the other.

Well anything else about his fortune 'Chat topping albums over 12 in number since 1993 and riches is another story now.

A DADDY IS A BABY'S REAL FATHER!

It is almost impossible to have a vision for your life if you have never seen anything.  One has to stand up from the sleepy dream of slumber land and instead dream of a brighter tomorrow of continuity with a rejuvenated drive in life. The more you dream for a better future the more you get the passion to do much for yourself and the special people around you.
Get out of the woods into the streets of adventure, enjoy and love. One thing that even the bible supports is the act of continuity and prosperity. Responsibility is key whenever the word family is mentioned.
We work and make enough to live happily after marriage with our better halves which is certainly good and a perfect dream ending to every adult but to every man we meet everyday nothing beats having a baby and holding it in your strong arms.
Many men now confirm that however rich anyone gets in life, it means less happiness if you can’t hold a daughter or son and proudly say that “Yes this is my beloved and my blood with whom I am well pleased”. Didn’t God say so about Jesus Christ?

Most of us can probably share one or two lessons with Brendon Burchard, the author of Life’s golden ticket in his saying; “There will be a time when the world needs you to be courageous, when your friends and family count on you, when your dreams are on the line, when giving up won’t make sense anymore, when the power of love begs to break through. That time is now. “
In my own words I believe a father is anyone with the ability to get a child but it takes real men with real virtues to become dads. Watch the children in the streets and get the real idea. Most of those kids out there are not fatherless but they are daddy less if such a word exists. They obviously have or had someone who was responsible for their coming into being. The only thing missing is the most important aspect which is a daddy figure.

Science and research ties the love relationship between man and an offspring as being so tight due to the hormonal link that exists from the time the man holds his baby for the first time from birth. Logically it goes beyond reason that any man should not love his son or daughter as nature calls for. We are animals and from many men out there the strength, courage and drive that any man can have in life is knowing he has a responsibility in form of a child to take care of be it blood or otherwise.
We summarily therefore should accept the fact that A child is man’s best lover. Any man ignoring a child is less in any measure and terms.

Go out there ford, toil, hustle and bustle for that child you have and be sure to cover the gap and any missing opportunities you may have lost in your own growing up days. Be the dad and let the young one envy and look up to you as his role model and inspiration.
“If I had the world today I would give it up for my future, my pride, my child.”
A Daddy is a baby’s real father.

NO DREAMS RUN LATE.

In 1970 Frank de Leeuw (1946) completed his studies in marketing  at the Hogeschool voor Economische Studies (HES) in Amsterdam. He did additional courses in marketing  and journalism during his professional life.
He had a career in marketing and communications at Young & Rubicam (advertising consultancy), Levi Strauss (Levi’s jeans), Koelrad (NordMende and Toshiba audio-visual equipment, and professional cooling, freezing and airconditioning installations), Douwe Egberts (professional coffee systems) and AkzoNobel  (in coatings and corporate positions). In the last two companies Frank was involved in the global operations of the businesses.  He retired in 2005.
Due to his international positions, which involved a lot of travelling, his hobbies, music (playing guitar and singing), writing (articles and columns), drawing, painting and photography got limited attention. After his early retirement writing, drawing and painting got full attention.
In 2008 Frank co-founded Mainport Art Productions (www.mainportart.nl), an organization for the worldwide support of artists. After a very successful start Frank left the Mainport organization in 2012. Mainport Art Productions still exists and has about 200 followers in more than 20 countries. Around 2009 photography became a more important activity. Both in his drawings, paintings and photographs portrait and (female) models are his favorite subjects. However also nature and animals are often subject of his creative activities.

In all these creative areas Frank is self-taught.  He is also the main photographer for Taj Devi’s fashion designs. Until 2013 he wrote interviews and columns for Hesprit, a publication of the Hogeschool voor Economische Studies. In 2013 Hesprit ceased to exist. Frank was also the main editor of ‘Terugblik naar de toekomst’ a book on the history and future of the HES, which was published in 2010.
Frank was chairman of the society of amateur fine artists ‘Atelier de Kromme Mijdrecht’ in Mijdrecht (NL) for some 8 years, and he is still organising the weekly model drawing classes at this club.
Frank is using his marketing and communications skills as a consultant for some fine artists in the Netherlands, including Taj Devi. He also shares responsibility for the organisation of the exhibitions in the Taj Devi Gallery.

Frank is a good example to anyone persuing their dreams that despite the hustle that comes with responsibilities and carreer, one can always achieve what he sets his eyes upon. By believing and always staying focused in your dream goals and achievements, nothing runs late because where there is the will there is the way.
